Tryout Information

Tryouts are conducted on Tuesdays & Thursday 6:00pm at the Chaparrel High School. Registration requires a $55 annual fee to Southern California Swimming, a $50 annual fee per family to Temecula Swim Club and monthly dues (determined by group level). You must bring a birth certificate at time of try outs/sign ups.

Your child does not have to be a competitive swimmer to join the team.  He/she will become a competitive swimmer in a group environment among swimmers of similar capabilities.

Requirements for group placement within the TMEC program:

Your child most be 5 years of age or older.

Your child must be able to take verbal directions from the coach.

Your child must be able to swim (stroke technique is not required) the length of the pool a 25 yards.
