“The mission of the Temecula Swim Club is to create an environment where the only possible outcome will be excellence in competitive swimming and subsequently producing healthier kids who become responsible members of society and life-long swimmers”
TMEC Core Goals
Create a stepping stone program where athletes are given specific goals beginning with swimming techniques and proceeding through progressively more challenging training to reach the level of each athlete’s full potential. Our club will not place any boundaries on an individual’s competitive potential or goals.
Use the right balance of club events, swim meets and challenging workouts to allow the athlete to excel in competitive swimming while at the same time remaining focused and interested in the sport.
Grow the population of our club so we will have bigger home meets, larger travel meet teams and larger championship teams while retaining our statistical standing in percentage of best times, and percentage of TMT and above time standards.
Obtain the best pool schedules possible. We want enough space in the evenings from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to fit our whole club in one facility with morning pool times all year and long course space during long course season.
Develop and maintain a year-round program for swimming lessons that will eventually become our primary income.
Be the most competitive club in the Eastern Committee of Southern California Swimming. We can only accomplish this by winning races. Every swimmer knows that the purpose of competition is to use their competitors to achieve a best time, therefore the goal of every race is to win.
Build our own 50-meter long course facility including an indoor warm-up pool for the year-round lesson programs, and office space for staff.
